Terms and Conditions
The following are the terms and conditions (the "Terms and Conditions") for use of this website (the "Site") that apply to users and to Honda Motor Company (the "Company") and its affiliates.
Before using the Site, users are required to read the following Terms and Conditions. Please use the Site only upon understanding and agreeing to the Terms and Conditions without limitation or reservation. By using the Site, users agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions regardless of circumstances.
The Company, at its sole discretion, may revise these Terms and Conditions at any time without individually notifying users. Accordingly, users are requested to check the Terms and Conditions before every use of the Site. Use of the Site after revision of the Terms and Conditions constitutes agreement by users to the revised Terms and Conditions.
Safety Precautions
The Safety Precautions in the Honda product and HRC products instruction manuals, parts catalogs, parts list, set-up manual, data setting tool / manual, Honda genuine accessory instruction manuals and installation manuals, settings guides, function operation guides (videos), etc. (collectively, the "Service Materials") published on the Site are based on laws and regulations in force at the time the instructions manuals were produced and may not conform to updated laws and regulations, etc. If you have any questions about the Safety Precautions for your Honda motorcycle product (the "Product"), please consult the dealer from which you purchased your Product or your nearest Honda dealer.
Incorrect inspection or maintenance, improper maintenance, or failure to conduct repairs can cause accidents such as falls, which may result in death or serious injury. Please consult the dealer from which you purchased your Product or your nearest Honda dealer regarding maintenance.
Service Materials Published on the Site
1.The Site contains Service Materials for Products sold by the Company, as well as corrections and other supplementary materials. (Please note that some content may not be included for some Products.)
The Service Materials on the Site are subject to change due to changes in product specifications, and some content may reflect differences from actual vehicles. Therefore, these materials should be used only for reference.
2.Please be sure to refer to the instruction manual and supplementary materials applicable to your Product for usage instructions. Please consult the dealer from which you purchased your Product or your nearest Honda dealer if any of these are lost.
3.The Company provides a product warranty in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in the warranty card applicable to your Product and does not provide a warranty based on electronic instruction manuals.
4.Please note that the illustrations used in parts catalogs and parts list are not cross-sectional diagrams for maintenance purposes.
5.Parts catalogs published for customers are prepared from parts catalogs for dealers. Please be aware that the prefaces in catalogs include some information intended for dealers.
6.When ordering genuine parts listed in parts catalogs, please check the section of the Site with information on using parts catalogs, confirm the applicable model, VIN, part numbers, and quantity, and contact the dealer from which you purchased your Product or the nearest Honda dealer.
For HRC products, please consult with the HRC service shop or the Honda dealer where you purchased the product.
Please confirm availability of parts when ordering, as some may no longer be sold.
Prohibitions
1.In using the Site, users are prohibited from engaging in any of the following acts or any act that may be deemed to fall under the following.
(1) Any act that violates these Terms and Conditions
(2) Any act that infringes upon the intellectual property rights, property rights, or other rights or interests, including copyrights, of the Company or any third party
(3) Any act that causes inconvenience, disadvantage, or harm to the Company or any third party
(4) Any act that defames or slanders the Company or any third party, or that damages the reputation or credibility of the Company or any third party
(5) Any act that is against public order or morality, or that violates laws, regulations, or ordinances
(6) Any act making use of the Site that constitutes business activities, for-profit activities, or activities aimed at preparing for such activities
(7) Any act that uses or provides computer viruses or other harmful programs through or in connection with the Site
(8) Any act of unauthorized access to computers used to provide the Site
(9) Any act of sublicensing, transfer, or disposal of the right to use any part of the Site in a manner other than that stipulated by the Company
(10) Any act that makes use of usage rights to the Site to engage in transactions for the exchange of cash or of other goods or property benefits, to engage in other such transactions, or to engage in advertisement, notification, or solicitation of such transactions
(11) Any act that may interfere with the operation or provision of the Site
(12) Any act of disassembly, decompiling, reverse engineering, or other analysis of the source code, structure, ideas, etc. of the Site
(13) Use of the Site by means other than those provided by the Company, or falsification or unauthorized creation of data within the Site
(14) Any act of reproduction, transmission, transfer, loan, translation, adaptation, or modification of the Site, or combination of the Site with other software
(15) Any act that causes damage to security devices or security codes built into the Site
(16) Any act that induces malfunction of the Site
(17) Any act that allows a third party to use a password, etc. or device to use the Site, or that makes use of the Site through the lending, transferring, selling, trading, pledging, etc. of a password, etc. or device
(18) Any act that makes use of the Site under the name of any person other than the user, under false assertion of authority or agency rights, or under false claims of partnership or cooperation with another person or organization
(19) The use of programs, macros, or other tools not approved by the Company in the use the Site
(20) Any act that violates the precautions described on the Site or in the Company's publications
(21) Any act of operating a device or viewing its screen for the purpose of using the Site in a place where use of the Site is inappropriate, such as while driving a vehicle or while in a dangerous place
(22) Any act in connection with political, religious, or related activities
(23) Any act that impersonates an employee or other related party of the Company or its affiliates
(24) Any act of reproduction of support e-mail or private correspondence from the Company
(25) Any act that provides benefits to antisocial forces such as organized crime groups, members of organized crime groups, quasi-constituents of organized crime groups, companies affiliated with organized crime groups, corporate extortionists, sham social activists, sham political activists, and organized crime syndicates
(26) Any other acts that the Company deems inappropriate
2.In the event that a customer violates or is deemed by the Company to be at risk of violating the Terms and Conditions, laws, regulations, etc., the Company may, at its own discretion, suspend the user's use of the Site or take any other necessary action against the customer. However, the Company shall not be liable for any damages, etc. arising from such action, except in the case of willful misconduct or gross negligence on the part of the Company. In such instances, the customer in question must immediately destroy all downloaded information (whether in paper or electronic form) in the customer's possession or control.
3.Customers may not object to any action taken by the Company in accordance with the Terms and Conditions for the purpose of handling violations of the Terms and Conditions or of laws, regulations, etc.
4.Customers shall bear liability for compensation to the Company for any damage caused by violation of the Terms and Conditions or of laws, regulations, etc.
Disclaimers
1.The Company shall bear no liability for any of the following.
(1) That the Site may not contain Service Materials, corrections, or other supplementary materials for all products sold by the Company
(2) That the content of Service Materials provided on the Site are based on laws and regulations in force at the time the Service Materials were produced and may not conform to updated laws and regulations, etc.
(3) That some content of the Service Materials provided on the Site may reflect differences from actual vehicles due to changes in Product specifications, etc.
(4) That body colors and interior colors of the Products shown on the Site may appear different from actual colors due to factors including those related to photography and display screens
(5) That the illustrations (including 3D images) of products shown on the Site are for reference only and may reflect differences from actual Products, specifications, and colors
(6) That Product warranties are not based on information provided on the Site but are instead based on the warranty card applicable to the Products
(7) That computer systems used to provide the Site are subject to the possibility of infection by computer viruses
(8) That the Site may not meet the needs of customers
(9) In addition to the preceding items, the accuracy, completeness, certainty, applicability, usefulness, availability, safety, reliability, and lack of fault of the Site.
2.The Company shall not be liable for any disadvantage or damage (including, but not limited to, loss of opportunity to use the Site, other incidental damages, indirect damages, special damages, future damages, lost profits, and any other disadvantages or damages incurred by users or third parties; collectively, the "Damages") incurred as a result of the addition, change, suspension, discontinuation, removal, etc. of content on the Site.
3.Customers use the Site at their own risk, and the Company shall not be liable for any Damages incurred by customers or any third party as a result of the the use or non-use of the Site.
4.The Company shall not be liable for any Damages incurred by customers as a result of unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration of data or similar acts by said customers.
5.The Company shall not be liable for any Damages incurred by customers as a result of any alteration, modification, technical modification, etc. to the hardware or software of customers' cellphones, smartphones, tablets, PCs, or other devices used to use the Site (the "User Device"), and shall take no action such as reinstating the ability to use the Site.
6.Customers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the countries or regions from which customers use the Site, and the Company shall not be liable for any violation of such laws or regulations by customers.
7.The Company shall not be liable for any accidents, incidents, etc., resulting in Damages to customers or any third party due to customers' use of the Site while driving a vehicle or in dangerous locations, etc.
8.In cases in which the Terms and Conditions constitute a consumer contract under Article 2, Paragraph 3 of the Consumer Contract Act and the Company is liable for damages based on default or tort, the provisions of the Terms and Conditions that fully exempt the Company from liability for damages shall not apply. In such cases, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence on the part of the Company, the Company shall be liable for damages up to the amount of direct and actual damages suffered by the user in question, and shall not be liable for any disadvantages or Damages incurred by customers or any third party (including cases in which the Company foresaw or could have foreseen the occurrence of damages) due to the addition, modification, suspension, discontinuation, removal, etc. of content on the Site as specified in Article 2 under "Disclaimers".
Intellectual Property Rights
1.All rights to all information posted on the Site belong to the Company, its affiliates, or third parties designated by the Company, and are protected by copyright laws, treaties, and other laws of the respective countries. Any use (including reproduction, alteration, distribution, uploading, presentation, transmission, licensing, sale, publication, etc.) of this information outside the scope of personal use or other use permitted by copyright law is prohibited unless prior written permission for such use is obtained from the Company.
2.In the event of disputes between customers and third parties regarding intellectual property rights in connection with the use of the Site, the customers shall resolve the disputes at their own responsibility and expense. The Company shall bear no liability except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence on the part of the Company.
Links to the Services
The user may freely post links to the Services. However, links from sites that are against public order or morality shall be refused.
Log Files
The Company reserves the right to collect and store statistical usage information, such as the number of page visits and time spent on each page, from customer log files. These data are used to collect and analyze a wide range of statistical information, including analysis of usage trends for the Site, but do not contain any information that can identify specific individuals. Information on usage of the Site is not treated as confidential information or information with proprietary value belonging to users but is instead the property of the Company.
Notifications
1.Notifications from the Company to customers shall be delivered by posting to the Site, via e-mail, or by any other method deemed appropriate by the Company, and customers shall be deemed to agree to these.
2.In the event that the Company has notified customers in the manner described in the preceding paragraph, regardless of whether customers have viewed the notification, said notification shall be deemed complete at the time that the Company posts the content of said notification to the Site.
Validity of the Terms and Conditions
1.In the event that any provision of the Terms and Conditions or any part thereof is determined to be invalid or unenforceable pursuant to the Consumer Contract Act or any other law, regulation, etc., the remaining provisions of the Terms and Conditions and the remaining portions of any provision determined to be invalid or unenforceable shall remain in full force and effect.
2.In the event that any provision of the Terms and Conditions, or any part thereof, is invalidated or revoked in relation to a customer, the remaining provisions of the Terms and Conditions and the remaining portions of any invalidated or revoked provisions shall remain in full force and effect in relation to other customers.
Governing Law and Arbitration
The use of the Site and the Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. In addition, the Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction in the first instance over any dispute or inconsistency that may arise between the Company or its affiliates and users in connection with the use of the Site or the Terms and Conditions.
Warranty for Honda Genuine Motorcycle Products
The warranty program for Honda genuine products applies to products installed by Honda motorcycle dealers.
Warranty Program Overview
Honda provides warranties for Honda products purchased for the period and under the conditions specified in the warranty card issued by the Honda motorcycle dealer.

Additional Warranty
Those products provided with a warranty card shall be covered by warranty in accordance with the warranty standards set forth by the respective parts manufacturers, in addition to the warranty card in question.
Please consult with the Honda motorcycle dealer that installed the products in question regarding warranty matters.
Matters Not Covered by Warranty
(1）No warranty is provided for the following.
i. Malfunction or damage caused by use contrary to the instructions, prohibitions, or precautions in instruction manuals or on labels.
ii. Any repairs or adjustments made by a party other than a Honda motorcycle dealer. Furthermore, any malfunction caused by a device other than the Product.
iii. Malfunction or damage caused by installation at a location other than the specified location or due to falling, etc.
iv. Malfunction or damage caused by fire, salt damage, gas damage, earthquake, wind, flood, lightning, abnormal voltage, or other natural disaster.
v. Cases in which the date of installation, the name of the dealer installing the product, or other required information is not entered on the attached warranty registration certificate. Furthermore, cases in which said content has been rewritten.
vi. Defects clearly caused by inadequate work in installation of the Product. (Adhesion, pasting, incorrect assembly, etc.)
vii. Defects caused by the passage of time. (Natural fading of painted surfaces, plated surfaces, fabrics, rubber, and other surfaces)
viii. Wear (of grips, seat covers, etc.) occurring during normal use or in the process of use.
ix. Installation on any device other than applicable models.
x. Defects caused by overuse due to racing, rally sports, etc., or driving in areas where vehicles are not generally driven.
xi. Sensory phenomena (sound, vibration, etc.) that have no functional impact.
xii. Defects caused by external factors such as tampering.
(2）Expenses shall not be covered for the following.
i. Inspection and maintenance expenses for a vehicle with products installed, for the portion of expenses related to the products in question.
ii. Warranty expenses for a party other than a Honda motorcycle dealer.
iii. Inconvenience, loss, etc. due to unavailability of supplies or vehicles (communication or transportation expenses, compensation for absence from work, commercial loss, etc.).
iv. Expenses, compensation, etc. other than those indicated in the warranty card.

About HRC products
HRC’s machine and Racing KIT parts are designed and manufactured for competition use only and is sold “as-is” with no warranty. It does not conform to federal motor vehicle safety standards and operation on public streets, roads, or highways is illegal and the entire risk as to quality and performance is with the buyer.
State laws prohibit operation of this vehicle except in an organized racing or competitive event upon a closed course which is conducted under the auspices of a recognized sanctioning body or permit issued by the local governmental authority having jurisdiction.
First determine that operation is legal.
Before using, please confirm compliance with regulations and the necessity of additional equipment according to national race regulations.
HRC’s machine and Racing KIT parts should be used only in an organized racing or competitive event on a closed course and conducted under the auspices of a recognized sanctioning body, or by permit issued by the local governmental authority having jurisdiction.
HRC Racing KIT parts are not suitable for use with any other parts.
Read manual carefully.
